I.
Implementing a ‘NO GEN-AI’ trademark on cinematic works that did not use software that deceives its audience and denies work for human creatives.
It will become a recognisable signature to demonstrate it was an all human production that did not use software which contributes to the destruction of our natural environment and the destruction of human creativity and storytelling.
II.
UK Films Tax Reliefs should not be given to films that use GEN-AI. The reliefs, like the AVEC and IFTC, are implemented by the government to protect the culture and jobs of the creative filmmaking economy. GEN-AI diminishes our artistic culture, removes jobs and crucial funds from the UK. Thus, its government and taxpayers should not support it and allow GEN-AI created films to exploit these publicly funded tax credits.
III.
Seek remuneration fund and tax on GEN-AI companies that have exploited intellectual property from filmmakers and authors in the UK. This fund will be used to support independent filmmakers and cinematic companies that do not use GEN-AI in
their works and authorship.
